The fees to license the LocalUp SaaS product and business opportunity are designed to keep up-front licensing costs low. This is to allow the licensee to focus initial capital on marketing and sales efforts, to take the brand and local site to market and have a significant impact in the local market.

To optimize the business opportunity, it's recommended that a licensee be prepared to invest $85,000 - $125,000 in initial capital.  LocalUp's most successful licensees typically invest $100,00+ to launch and market their local restaurant menu guide.

Start-Up Fees/Costs Defined

One-time Design, Development & Training Fee

LocalUp completes the initial design and setup of the locally-branded restaurant guide for the licensee.  For this work, there is a one-time design and setup fee charged to the licensee.  Subsequent changes to the design can be managed by the licensee or contracted with LocalUp.

Initial product and business model training is conducted at LocalUp's Baltimore, MD based headquarters.  Fees for the initial training are included in the start-up fees.  Training last for one week (5 days) and travel expenses are covered by the licensee.

Annual Base Licensing Fee

The annual base licensing fee is an annual fee charged for access to the base software applications and business model training and support community. This fee is charged on the anniversary date of the executed licensing agreement.
